Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner, after many years of hiding and disguising his true feminine nature has exposed himself. This took a lot of courage. Now with his Vanity Fair cover shoot all over the airways, it is creating tremendous reactions. Pictures of veterans with loss limbs declaring they are the real courageous ones and there’s no argument there. Let’s not forget:
…….people battling cancer are courageous.
…….homeless people are courageous.
…….alcoholics and drug addicts are courageous.
…….single mothers raising their children are courageous.
…….rape victims are courageous.
…….parents who lose children are courageous.
The list goes on and on. Courage is apparent in many people. We, as humans, need to stop this comparison and ‘en-courage’ each other. Simply acknowledge and honor courage in its many sizes and shapes.
Remember….this is not a contest on who is more courageous!
