Complaining…..it holds you back!

You’re complaining…it’s raining or what else is bothering you?  Did you ever stop and LISTEN to all the whining and complaining?  It will wear you out.  I stopped in my local coffee shop for my daily cup of coffee and listened while the owner complained to every customer.  She complained that her help never shows up.  She complained about customers complaining and today was the day she was going to call up an interested buyer to buy the shop.  Then my twenty one year old daughter came home from a long day.  She complained about school and her job. Judgment is truly low energy and something that keeps us from reaching our true spiritual potential as human beings.  The media once again is in a feeding frenzy over the Tiger Woods’ situation. Television and radio talk hosts are debating the character of Tiger Woods.  I don’t know about all of you but I am tired of this. Gossip serves the lower aspects of our souls because we delight in the fall of grace of a wealthy, public figure. It makes us feel good that someone so successful has screwed up.

 Cherish or Perish ~ Balloon Boy, Jon & Kate, Michael Jackson

CHERISH…..what a lovely word.  Our children need to be cherished. Society says that children are our national treasure, but our actions say otherwise.  The recent balloon boy incident is clearly a demonstration of using children for the parents’ own self-interest.  The poor child spoke the truth and seconds later, vomited in fear of his father’s wrath. Michael Jackson is another example of a child used for his Father’s ambitions;  he  craved for his childhood to be returned to him by creating his Neverland ranch.  Clearly Michael never healed from being forced into the spotlight and abuse.
